Summer in the Library – 2022 Program Oceans of Possibilities

 May 21 – July 2, 2022

So many fun events in the library and around our community. Be a part of Summer Reading by registering and reading! We will have special prizes that can be earned every two weeks. Reading together keeps us learning all summer long!

You can register to participate in summer reading at: 2022 Oceans of Possibilities

Or visit the library for a paper registration form. Once registered, you can choose to log time spent reading this year with the paper reading logs or by using the READsquared website & app.

As you complete your reading log, or the READsquared program, you can come into the library to pick up a special prize every two weeks.

During June, we have special Storytimes at HPL (on Tuesdays at 10:00am) and at the Hagerstown Park on Turnpike Road (on Thursdays at 10:00am).

As you wander through town you can look for special clues and codes in bottles to find the Message in a Bottle! (June 1 – July 2)

We will have virtual Ocean Mythology classes to teach about gods, merfolk and underwater wonders!

And make sure to stop in the library and check out what crafts and fun activities we have available.
